I recently had the privilege of appearing twice on San Francisco's KALW radio.
While the live broadcasts have concluded, listeners can still access the recordings via the links provided below.
On Josiahluis Alderete's "Bay Poets" program, I shared a Qasida of our sweet City of Oakland in anticipation of the upcoming Beast Crawl Literary Festival. The opportunity to contribute to such a respected platform was an honor.
Shuffled, Never Broken
Time is a collective, it moves in spirals
twisted loops in road grease
and midnight tires
Odor of sweets and malt liquor
the idea of silence hovers
under glowing cranes and back bend bridges
Additionally, I participated in an interview with JeneƩ Darden on her "Sights and Sounds" show. Our conversation explored a few of the Events lined up for Beast Crawl Literary Festival. I found the experience to be both stimulating and informative.
